The `/v1/models` endpoint returns the dynamic list of concrete model IDs your API key is currently authorized to route.

## Policy expansion

When your App Connection defines wildcard policies like `*` or `openai/*`, the `/v1/models` endpoint **expands those wildcards into concrete routable model IDs** (e.g. `openai/gpt-4.1-mini`, `openai/gpt-4.1`, `anthropic/claude-3-7-sonnet`).

Wildcard strings are policy configurations—not valid target model identifiers in chat completion requests.
