OpenAI provider setup
Configure OpenAI BYOK credentials, model wildcards, and direct routing.
Use this guide to route matching requests through an OpenAI API key owned by your organization.

Open Provider Credentials in the dashboard and select OpenAI. Enter a name and your OpenAI API key, then configure the model policy and routing mode.
Manage provider credentials in the Zorveus dashboard under Provider Credentials. Application code does not call a provider-credential API. Use a Zorveus API key for inference, not the upstream provider secret.
Zorveus validates the key before storing it. The response contains a fingerprint, not the raw secret. Test a model returned by GET /models in the dashboard or GET /v1/models with the API key before moving production traffic.
If OpenAI rejects the key, rotate it with the provider, then update the credential under Provider Credentials in the dashboard. Deleting the old Zorveus credential also revokes its connection grants.
