Wallets and balances
Manage prepaid organization balances, balance reservations, and wallet top-ups in the Zorveus dashboard.
Every spendable organization in Zorveus has a prepaid wallet denominated in USD. The wallet funds model inference on Zorveus-managed routes and pays platform fees on high-volume BYOK traffic.
You manage and fund your wallet in the Zorveus Dashboard under Billing & Wallets.
Dashboard balance overview
When you open Billing & Wallets, the dashboard displays three balance metrics:
- Available balance (
available_balance): Uncommitted funds ready to reserve for new inference calls or BYOK platform fees. - Reserved balance (
reserved_balance): Funds temporarily held for in-flight requests that are currently streaming tokens. - Total balance: The total value in your account (
available_balance + reserved_balance).
Total balance ($50.00) = available ($48.20) + reserved ($1.80)Topping up your wallet
To add funds to your organization wallet:
- In the Zorveus Dashboard, navigate to Billing & Wallets.
- Click Top Up Balance.
- Choose an amount (such as
$25.00,$100.00, or a custom amount). - Pay securely using a credit card, debit card, or bank transfer.
- Funds appear in your Available balance immediately after payment confirmation.
Auto-recharge
To prevent service interruptions in production, you can enable auto-recharge in the dashboard:
- Threshold: Set a minimum available balance (for example,
$20.00). - Recharge amount: Specify how much to add when your balance drops below the threshold (for example,
$100.00).
How the platform handles reservations
When an application sends an inference request using your API key:
- Pre-flight hold: Zorveus estimates the maximum request cost and checks your Available balance. If funds are sufficient, the estimate moves from available to reserved balance.
- Model execution: The gateway streams the model completion to your application.
- Settlement: When the stream closes, Zorveus calculates the exact token charge:
- The actual charge is deducted from your reserved balance.
- Any unused reservation hold returns to your Available balance immediately.
What happens when funds run out
If your Available balance cannot cover an incoming request's estimated hold:
- The gateway rejects the call with HTTP
402 Payment Requiredand error codezorveus_reservation_insufficient_balance. - The dashboard highlights your wallet status as requiring a top-up.
- Existing completed requests and in-flight streams finish normally.
Top up your wallet in the dashboard to restore inference traffic immediately.
